Scheduled against Jasudavicius
Fiorot is scheduled to compete against Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC Vancouver on October 18, per MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
Fiorot will look to bounce back after dropping her last fight in May. The 5-foot-7 fighter entered that bout with a 12-1 record before falling to Valentina Shevchenko by unanimous decision. Currently ranked No. 2 in the global women's flyweight division, Fiorot is determined to maintain her standing.

Competitive in title defeat
Fiorot came up short in her quest for the UFC Women's Flyweight Championship on Saturday, falling to Valentina Shevchenko via unanimous decision (47-48, 47-48, 47-48) at UFC 315 in Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Fiorot more than proved herself capable of competing against the best in the world, and the fact she has a legitimate claim for victory is absolutely amazing considering how poorly the evening began for her. Manon spent the first round serving as a punching bag for the champion. She had her nose busted with a huge shot and appeared completely out of sorts. Yet, she slowly found her footing on the strength of a ton of control time along the fence. Fiorot simply rushed in over and over and pinned Valentina to the wall. Ultimately, however, all three judges simply felt there weren't enough big offensive moments from the Fiorot side to win a decision. Manon had won each of her first seven UFC bouts entering the evening. Based on ability alone, Fiorot has another chance to get to this level once again. The main thing working against her is the fact she just turned 35 years old in February.

Gets first UFC title shot
Fiorot will face Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC Women's Flyweight Championship at UFC 315 on May 10 in Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Fiorot is coming off an impressive victory against Erin Blanchfield during UFC Fight NIght at Atlantic City, marking her seventh consecutive UFC victory (fifth straight via decision). While Fiorot throws (and lands) at a higher volume than the champion (over a shorter sample size), most other marks, from striking defense to wrestling, fall in favor of Shevchenko. While Fiorot is more than deserving, she most likely enters as the underdog against one of the greatest female fighters of all-time.

Dominant main event victory
Fiorot defeated Erin Blanchfield via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Atlantic City.
ANALYSIS
Entering as a +170 underdog and fighting in enemy territory, Fiorot looked fantastic. She completely shut down the grappling game of Blanchfield, and that allowed Manon to easily and emphatically pull ahead on the judges' scorecards behind some excellent work in the stand-up. Fiorot closed with a 172-130 edge in terms of significant strikes landed, but this fight was far more lopsided than those numbers would lead you to believe. A winner of a dozen fights in a row including her first seven with the UFC, Fiorot's next bout may very well be for a championship.

Set to fight Blanchfield in March
Fiorot is scheduled to face Erin Blanchfield in a flyweight bout at the UFC's March 30 event in Atlantic City, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca
ANALYSIS
Fiorot and Blanchfield will be a battle of the unbeatens, with the winner likely moving into the No. 1 contender spot to face Alexa Grasso for the flyweight title. Fiorot is coming off an impressive unanimous decision win over former strawweight champion Rose Namajunas in September and should have a title fight in her sights if she's able to pull off another victory over the 24-year-old phenom Blanchfield.
